12 Panel drug test cups let companies and medical providers test clients on site and get results instantly. Urine drug screens are much cheaper than saliva tests and blood tests, and detect the residual metabolites longer. Hair follicle tests are extremely expensive and sometimes suffer from adulteration that cannot be easily detected such as hair dyes.
Our 12 panel urine drug screen cups test for every drug that currently has a CLIA waiver available, and covers almost every drug of abuse that is popular with addicts. There are 13, 14 and even 21 panel tests available, but they include strips that are not CLIA waived therefor rendering the entire test high difficulty. At the time of writing this our 12 panel drug test covers Tests for Suboxone, Oxycodone, Opiates, Barbituates, Cocaine, Amphetamine, Methamphetamine, Benzodiazepines, Methadone, THC, Ecstasy, Tricyclic Antidepressants. Easy to read results. Individually wrapped with a long shelf life (as of November 7 2019). The National Institute of Drug Abuse publishes drugs of abuse information to help inform employers and medical providers with their drug testing programs.

Each panel contains regeants that interact with metabolites that are produced when a drug is processed by the human body. The metabolite and regeant create a chemical reaction that clears the lines on each test strip.
Although 12 panel drug tests are about 99% accurate, there is a possibility of having a similar compound create a false positive. False positives are most likely to occur on TCA, Methamphetamine and opiate strips because those drugs have many similar substances that are legal or have medication that can produce similar metabolites. For the most part a false positive on a 12 panel drug test is pretty easy to cross reference with a person’s prescribed medications.
If your patient fails a drug test you should send the sample to a lab anyway. The lab will confirm whether the patient has ingested drugs recently.
